Version 2026-07-15 · Effective for the controlled beta only. This is a product-ready draft that requires completion with the operating legal entity, contact channel, retention schedule, vendors, and counsel review before public launch.
Information we collect
Account details, role and organization information, identity or credential records you choose to submit, job details, property-condition photos, messages, reviews, payment and subscription records when activated, and limited technical security logs.
Why we use it
To create accounts, match jobs and professionals, operate the hiring modes, protect against abuse, preserve reliable job records, provide support, meet legal obligations, and improve the service. Optional product updates are sent only when you opt in.
Who can see job information
Exact property details, private job notes, and attached photos are restricted to the client, the accepted provider, and providers with a current eligible offer, subject to the platform’s access controls. Public profiles show only the professional information the account holder has chosen to publish and the system-managed reputation data allowed by the product.
Service providers and disclosures
We may use vetted providers for infrastructure, secure storage, identity verification, payment processing, communications, analytics, and customer support when those services are activated. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect people and property, or as part of a legitimate corporate transaction.
Retention and security
We retain information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described here, legal requirements, dispute handling, and security. We use access controls, encryption in transit, private storage rules, and audit records, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
You may update account information, manage communications preferences, request access or deletion where applicable, and report privacy concerns. Additional state-specific rights and a formal privacy contact will be published before public launch.
Children
ClosingShine is not directed to children and may not be used by anyone under 18.
During the private test, send privacy questions to the test coordinator. The public privacy request contact will be published before launch.
